Entrevista a TV Furg sobre o Programa Aluno Monitor
Entrevista concedida a TV FURG, da Fundação Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (Rio Grande - RS - Brasil), sobre o Programa Microsoft Aluno Monitor, parceria da Seduc-RS com o portal Microsoft Educação para capacitação de alunos das escolas da rede pública estadual para atuarem como monitores nos laboratórios de informática das escolas. Entrevista gravada 27/04/2009, no laboratório de informática educativa do NTE Rio Grande/18ª CRE e veiculada em 03/04/2009, pela TV FURG.
O curso de capacitação, apesar de feito com o conteúdo do sistema operacional Windows Vista, não inviabiliza a utilização dos laboratórios de informática das escolas públicas, em sua maioria com sistema operacional Linux Educacional, fornecido pelo Proinfo/MEC. O educando capacitado como aluno monitor poderá adaptar-se com facilidade a ambos os sistemas operacionais.
Após a conclusão do curso, serão oferecidas pelo NTE Rio Grande oficinas variadas aos concluintes, dentre elas de como utilizar o Linux Educacional.
Na segunda quinzena de abril, inicia-se o Curso de Introdução à Educação Digital (40h), na distribuição Linux Educacional/Proinfo MEC, aos professores da rede pública estadual, da região da 18ª CRE.

Zé, que legal te ver aqui no vídeo. Ótima tua participação e da Janaína que tb foi minha colega no curso de Especialização. Penso exatamente como tu disseste: O multiplicador do NTE deve ter contato com os alunos tb, não somente com os professores. Dessa forma, conhece as dificuldades e as facilidades de todos os envolvidos no processo.

Oi, Berna. Com certeza, sem esse contato com os dpois pólos, profe e alunpo, as próprias reflexão e ação ficam comprometidas, pois precisamos estar do lado, ora do professor, ora do aluno, para entende-los. E de certa forma, somos sempre alunos, estamos sempre aprendendo. Brigadão pelo comentário. O projeto é bem interessante e desgastante também , pois damos atendimento a mais de 210 alunos. Mas é uma nova experiencia. Depois faremos por conta do NTE, oficinas aos concluintes de edição de video, criação de blogs, etc

Oi, profa. Suzana,
essa é uma boa pergunta, pois trabalho aqui no NTE com os dois sistemas Windows e Linux, mas como ser biológico nem sempre consigo me particionar. São semelhantes mas têm também suas distinções, e nós multiplicadores às vezes precisamos ter uma boa concentração pra não misturar as estações. O Linux Educacional é uma distribuição que já está na sua versão 3.0, e tem se aproximado da funcionalidade do Windows e tem o aval do Proinfo/MEC, que tem oferecido encontros regionais para os multiplicadores.
Costumo comentar que se fossem línguas, e não deixam de ser linguagem de máquina, os sistemas operacionais se aparentam com as línguas latinas, como o português e o espanhol. Entretanto, essa entrada da Microsoft aqui no Estado, ouvi comentar que o Microsoft Educação é uma proposta similar ao Linux Educacional, mas ainda não tenho maiores detalhes.
Envolvido com diversas atividades no NTE e fora dele, aiinda careço dessas informações. Pretendo buscá-las para poder formar uma opinião a respeito. Programa Aluno Monitor que é uma parceria da empresa com o Estado visa capacitar alunos, como mostra no vídeo acima. Todavia, o Microsoft Educação, pelo que ouvi comentar é algo no estilo Linux Educacional mesmo. Na verdade, a grosso modo, ainda sem maiores detalhes sobre o assunto, parece-me tratar-se de uma questão estratégica para ambos (MS e RS), frente a proposta Linux/MEC, que tem revertido no âmbito das escolas da rede pública, com os LIEs doados pelo Ministério da Educação, a grande abrangência que o Windows tem no restante dos PCs.
Li em seu blog um comentário sobre esse tema, mas não comentei ainda, justamente por me faltar mais subsídios. Assim que tiver, estarei também colaborando com esse debate que envolve tecnologia e educação.
